Arriva Italia is the Arriva Group’s italian branch. Present on the Italian market since 2002, managing around 5% of the market shares, it provides both urban and extra-urban transport services mainly in Northern Italy, as well as shuttle services to Turin and Milan airports.
Arriva Italia operates transport services in Valle d’Aosta, in the provinces of Torino, Brescia, Bergamo, Lecco and Cremona, and as a holding company has the majority of stakes in Arriva Udine and Arriva Veneto and the minority in ASF Autolinee and Trieste Trasporti.
Arriva Italia strengthened its position through the acquisition of local public transport companies or with cooperation in joint venture with public partners.
Currently, Arriva Italia manages public transport services for circa 100 million of bus/km per year, 2500 vehicles and 3500 employees.
In 2012 Arriva Italia Rail, rail services dedicated start-up, was founded.

In this process, Arriva Italia con count on the experience and support of the “sister companies” who operate in other 13 European countries and in the UK.
